What to expect
Our day trip Hunter Valley Vineyards Tour departs from Sydney in the morning and returns to Sydney early evening. This bespoke tour ensures the finer details including your choice of wineries, preferred grape varieties and a lunch restaurant will be chosen to match your tastes. The Hunter Valley is Australia's oldest wine making region that is located just over 2 hours drive from Sydney. With over 150 wineries and a range of grape types including Chardonnay, Semillion, Verdelho, Shiraz and Merlot, there is an abundance of wine loving varieties to sample and enjoy. We'll choose up to 4 vineyards to visit with a cheese or chocolate tasting option. Optional visit to Wollombi: a small historical town almost lost in time. together we'll discover its quaint modern day reality while learning about its' interesting past. A perfect coffee/breakfast stop on the way to the vineyards.
