What to expect

Escape the city for a day of Victorian nature and family-friendly wildlife encounters. Wander beneath towering 55 metre Californian redwoods, spend an extended visit at Healesville Sanctuary to see koalas, kangaroos and the platypus, or if you prefer fruits and farms, go to Rayner’s Orchard and Hop on a tractor tour to taste exotic fruits straight from the trees, and finish with artisan treats and chocolate-making displays at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery. The pace is relaxed and nature-focused, ideal for those who prefer nature walks and wildlife over wineries, with knowledgeable local guide commentary throughout the day. (Important: You can only visit Healesville Sanctuary or Rayner's Orchard, NOT BOTH)
