Caversham Wildlife Park occupies broad grounds within Whiteman Park and presents Australian wildlife beside domestic animals. Kangaroos, koalas, wombats, birds, reptiles and farm species appear in habitats of different scales that connect observation, care and education. Kangaroos reveal long hind legs, powerful tails and hopping movement. In open areas, posture and travel show adaptation to distance. The use of the tail, the angle of the torso and the transition between rest and motion reveal how the body distributes weight and energy.
Koalas have curved claws, strong limbs and bodies specialised for climbing and resting among eucalyptus branches. Fur, hand structure and slow activity relate to a diet of leaves with low energy content. Their enclosures use trunks, platforms and branching forms to create several vertical levels.
