The Cascade Complex rises from central Yerevan through a monumental sequence of stairs, gardens, fountains and platforms. Its pale stone creates an urban axis linking the lower city with the northern hills.
Republic Square is Yerevan’s principal civic space, surrounded by pink stone buildings that combine classical forms, Armenian motifs and twentieth century urban planning. Its oval layout opens broad views towards museums, hotels and government buildings.
